breed: a kind of animal

marbling: lines of fat mixed in a piece of meat

origin: the point or place where something begins

precipitation: water that falls to the ground as rain, snow, etc.

rib-eye: large, tender cut of beef from the outer side of the rib

wean: getting accustomed to something other than mother's milk
